Four new ‘Pubs’ added to digital map

The digital mapping of Chichester Pubs is kept under review to update information and add any new drinking establishments. The following four are the latest additions – more images are provided at their map locations.

The Ghost at the Feast located at 33-34 North Street

Founded by Ben and Kate O’Norum in 2025, The Ghost at the Feast provides several street food kitchens, coffee, craft beer bar (Fauna Brewing), cocktail and natural wine bars, a full restaurant and a micro-winery. (Point 134 on the map)

Established in Chichester in February 2025 Cavavin is part of a French network of local wine merchants with more than 150 franchisees. It offers a range of wines and spirits from around the world with a focus on French products. Recent wines on tasting included Barren Jack Shiraz Cabernet, a Hello World Viognier, a Hello World Viognier and a Saint Marc Chardonnay. (Point 133 on map)

The Escapist located at 9 Crane Street

This ‘Tap Room’ is an independent bar founded by ‘drinking buddies’ and offers a range of craft beers on tap from local and national breweries, as well as a broad and diverse range of cans to drink in or takeaway plus some merchandise (Point 136 on map)

The 3 floors of Fernleigh accommodate a bar, café, and meeting and event spaces and a Cowdray Farm, Deli shop. The building was built in 1807 by Charles Cooper, a Chichester coal merchant who demolished the earlier property whose site  dated back to In the 17th century when the building located on the same site belonged to William Cawley, MP for Chichester in 1628. The current building was graded II* in 1971. (Point 135 on map)
